Bolt celebrated his 100m and 200m title, as well as his 4x100m gold and world record performance, with his team-mate Yohan Blake.
The 25-year-old took to the stage at his sponsor’s event Puma Yard in Brick Lane before moving on to Movida nightclub in Soho with Blake.
The night out followed Jamaica’s stunning 4x100m relay race where they beat their previous world record they achieved at last year’s world championships. The pair stayed out until 6am before calling it a night.
It is expected to be the first in a succession of celebratory nights in the capital and you can be sure that he is set to take the centre stage in each one.
Reports before London 2012 claimed Bolt was not at his best leading up to the Games, and while he appeared more focused than he usually is during competition, he was still the ring leader in a Jamaican quartet packed with entertainers.
He continued to play up to the cameras before his events, saluted the crowd with his trademark pose and celebrated with lucky fans, who had front row seats, following his victories.
